The link below is the Resolution in the form it will be presented to Annual Conference, to address the congressional redistricting enacted during the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the 114th Tennessee General Assembly to diminish and dilute Black voices, distort equitable representation, and weaken the ability of communities to participate fairly and meaningfully in democratic life.

Black Methodists for Church Renewal (BMCR), in partnership with the General Board of Church and Society (GBCS), has developed a 10-step guide designed to help churches and communities elevate and protect the right to vote. The resource offers practical steps and advocacy tools to encourage civic engagement and strengthen efforts to ensure every voice is heard.
