There’s still time to make plans to join the Southeastern Jurisdiction of Black Methodists for Church Renewal (SEJ BMCR) for our 57th Annual Meeting, November 5–7, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia.

“Our Time Under God Is Now — To Inspire, To Influence and To Impact,” -Jeremiah 26:2–3.

General Registration: $275 per person

Join us for the next Leadership Forward Lunch & Learn, “Oh, Bless His Name: Sermons, Sayings and Such,” featuring Vance P. Ross. Together, we’ll explore the sermons, familiar sayings, and expressions that have helped shape the faith, worship, and lived experience of the Black Church.

Join John Wesley United Methodist Church on October 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. for the Annual Homecoming Celebration, marking 128 years of faith and fellowship. This year's theme, "Pressing Forward, Looking Up," draws from Philippians 3:13-14 and calls the congregation to honor its history while embracing the road ahead. Reverend Edward Lee Thompson, retired pastor of Lee Chapel AME Church in Nashville, brings the message for the day.
